When I first walked up to a redwood on my trip up the California cost I was immediately humbled. It was just so solemn. Ancient. Amazing.
It took me quite a while roaming through the forests before I felt comfortable going in for this picture. And yes, that is one tree! It is about 1000 years old and hundreds of feet tall.
