An unhurried sense of time is in itself a form of wealth.

We rush to do things to increase our wealth, or just to help us get by.

When we see men of a contrary character, we should turn inwards and examine ourselves.

We can always learn something about ourselves from other people.

If we see a positive trait in other, can we develop it in ourselves.  If a less than positive trait, can we rid that quality from ourselves?

Either way, if we look at other with gratitude that they can show us something about ourselves, maybe we will have more compassion for being with them.

Luck is what you have left over after you give 100 percent.

The challenge to this is it when we give less than 100 percent and things still go well for us?  Maybe a study in the postulates of karma is in order.

What I like about this is it defines a mindset much in line with the saying work as if everything depended on you and pray as if everything depended on something higher.
