It seems as if God has done some renovations to his home within me.

I welcome the changes, despite the commotion it causes.

At first I thought he was singing about a girl. 

Then I realized he was speaking from the voice of the Lord and it is His love that goes with us.

A sad day to see day to see the local DC Kundalini studio close at it’s Georgia Ave. location.  I have learned so much and experienced amazing peace in Elizabeth and Katie’s classes.  I plan to enroll regularly when the new studio opens in 2011. 

Until then it I’m looking forward to checking out a Holy Yoga group in Alexandria.  The founder has a background in Bikram, Anusara, and Christ so I expect some soulful, empowering, vinyasa.

As I embark on a Kundalini Yoga enspired, Vegan, high alkaline, week-long cleanse I am reminded of the words of Jesus:

And when you fast, don’t make it obvious, as the hypocrites do, for they try to look miserable and disheveled so people will admire them for their fasting.

Smile, be grateful for this opportunity, and take deep breathes instead of snack breaks.
