You can either play the victim card for the rest of your life, or you can step into the victory that Jesus has for you.

Man this one hit home for me.  For all those times when I think that something is the way it is because of biological or environmental reasons, this reminds me, there is always another way.

But, as Pastor Perry says, it’s not going to happen by accident.  It’s going to take spiritual discipline.

One of the powerful messages that hit me in the last message at DC Metro was how we should not be caught up in identities based around gifts that we have been given from God.  Rather, we should identify being children of the God who gave us these gifts.
